Admission Criteria & Quota Guidelines

To maintain our high standards of academic excellence and discipline, VCI implements a qualifying examination and grade benchmark system for all applicants:

Note: Applicants to the BSIT and BSBA programs must also have no failing grades in their records. The qualifying examinations are administered on a regular basis as prescribed by the VP for Academic Affairs and officially conclude one week after the opening of classes.

Step-by-Step Enrollment Process

Once you have successfully passed your entrance qualifying examination, please follow these sequential steps to complete your formal enrollment:

Step 1: Document Preparation (Print)

Before heading to campus, you must print out your digital student records:

  • Fill out the Pre-Enrollment Data Sheet available through this link: https://bit.ly/vcienrollment
  • Print 3 copies of the Student Data Sheet (these are required for the Registrar, Finance Office, and your respective Department Coordinator).
  • Print 1 copy of the QR Code Sheet (this is strictly designated for the Student Affairs and Services Office).

Step 2: Campus Verification & Document Submission

Proceed to the physical VCI Campus to kick off your face-to-face registration:

  • For OLD Students: Head directly to your respective program Department Office first for your curriculum evaluation, then proceed to the Registrar’s Office for data verification.
  • For NEW Students & Transferees: Go directly to the Registrar’s Office to officially submit your physical documentary requirements.

Step 3: Registration Form Collection (Finance Office)

Make your way to the Finance Office window:

  • Secure your official Registration Form (White Form) from the transaction window.
  • Old Students: You must present your signed semestral student clearance form here before the cashier can release your White Form.

Step 4: Subject Advising & Advising Listing (Department Office)

Go to your respective course/program department office with your White Form in hand:

  • Consult with your Department Dean or Coordinator to list down the exact subjects and schedules you will be enrolling in for the semester.

Step 5: Data Update & ID Verification (SASO)

Head to the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) with your QR sheets:

  • For OLD Students: Update your school records and submit your printed QR Code here.
  • For NEW Students & Transferees: Submit your printed QR Code here to update your account profiles and claim your official school ID stub.

Step 6: Assessment & Payment of Fees (Finance Office)

Return to the Finance Office window for financial processing:

  • Present your completed White Form for the official assessment of accounts.
  • Settle your balance or required initial down payment, which covers your tuition fees, miscellaneous fees, and organizational/institutional fees.

Step 7: Masterlist Validation (Department Office)

Go back to your program’s Department Office:

  • Present your proof of payment to the department staff to secure your final and official listing in the institutional Subject Masterlist.

Step 8: Final Account Validation & Class Card Release (Registrar)

Conclude your enrollment journey at the Registrar’s Office:

  • Old Students: Present your records to validate and renew your school ID card.
  • All Students (OLD and NEW): Claim your official semestral Class Cards from the registrar.
