Veritas College of Irosin marked another milestone in student welfare on June 23, 2026, as the Verdians Peer Counseling Organization conducted an orientation for aspiring peer counselors at Fr. Escanilla Hall.



The session opened with a discussion on foundational matters that every aspirant must understand prior to becoming an official member of the organization. Ej Kim A. Galopa, President of the Verdians, provided a comprehensive explanation of peer counseling and underscored the importance of establishing a peer-based support system within the school community. Vice President Shara Joy C. Gamis followed with a discussion on the significance of the organization and other key aspects of its nature.
Organization Adviser and VCI Guidance Counselor, Ms. Lea R. Gracilla, also addressed the session, briefly covering the principles of confidentiality and ethics that govern peer counseling practice.
The orientation was attended by aspirants from various departments and year levels, reflecting a broad interest in the organization across the college.
